Science

I have been teaching science at Connersville for the past twelve years. I am a graduate of Indiana University and I am currently completing my masters degree in education. I love viewing the stars, planets, and space station. On weekends, I scan the ground for Indian artifacts on our farm where I live with my lovely wife Kathy, our cat, Shadow, and two pups, Marsh and Mellow.

Mathematics

I earned my Bachelor and Master degrees in mathematics from Ball State University. This is my 28th year teaching at Connersville Middle School.
I enjoy camping and riding my buckskin quarter horse named Mikey.  Riding through the woods on a fall day is one of my favorite past times.
 My three grandchildren are also horse crazy.  I enjoy attending their sports and school activities.
If students need additional help with their prealgebra, they need to speak to me about coming in before school to get that additional help.  If the student makes an effort, they can be successful this year!

Language Arts (Team Leader)

My name is Sandy Peck. I graduated from the University of Findlay (Ohio) in May 2011. I earned a Bachelors of Science and majored in Middle Childhood Education in the subject areas of Language Arts, mathematics, and reading. I moved to Connersville, IN in August 2011 to begin my teaching career here at Connersville Middle School. . In June 2014, I married my best friend, Tom Peck. We were blessed with our first child, Jackson, in the summer of 2016. My hobbies consist of reading, exercising, cleaning, gardening, and volunteering. I love teaching and working with the bright and wonderful students here at the middle school. I wish you all the best of luck in your seventh grade year!

Social Studies

I am excited to have your child in my class this school year. This year in social studies we will be learning about Eastern Hemisphere geography, history, economics, culture, and current events. I graduated from Indiana University East in 2012. I am married to my wonderful wife Wendi. I have two children (Bella and Noah) and three step children (Cameron, Jenna, and Kylie).
